Once upon a time, in a world quietly surrounded by hidden chemicals, parents did what they always have - chose the softest bedding, the cutest toys, and the most beautiful nurseries, believing they were creating a safe haven for their children.
But as millennials, we grew up differently. We became the generation that questions everything - what’s in our food, our water, and eventually, what surrounds our children as they sleep, breathe, and grow.
When we became parents, those questions only grew louder. Conversations shifted from plans and parties to concerns about our babies’ skin, sleep, breathing, immunity, and long-term wellbeing.
For me, it became deeply personal when my niece was born. Within days, unexplained rashes appeared on her delicate skin. Small, yet impossible to ignore.
It led me to ask:
What truly surrounds our babies when they sleep?
What rests against their skin, night after night?
What are they breathing in?
As I searched for answers, I uncovered a troubling truth - everyday items like mattresses, fabrics, clothes that child wear and even bedroom air can contain hidden chemicals, microplastics, toxic dyes, and synthetic materials that may affect a child’s developing body.
That’s when Mamma Mimos was born—from love, concern, and a desire to redefine bedtime from the inside out.

THE DISCOVERY
A revolutionary way of dyeing organic cloth
In the ancient craft district of Sanganer, Jaipur, we found a group of artisans who had perfected a revolutionary technique - creating beautiful, vibrant colours using nothing but plants. No chemicals. No toxins. Just nature.This technique exists in only one district in India. Using turmeric, indigo, pomegranate, and other plant extracts, they create 25 stunning pastel colours that are gentle enough for a newborn's skin.We partnered with these master artisans to bring their centuries-old craft to the world -starting with the babies who need it most.
